Leslie Miller received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 2016. Prior to working as an attorney, she worked as a paralegal focusing in family law beginning in 2010.
While at the University of Baltimore, Ms. Miller served as a Staff Editor and then as the Manuscript Editor for Law Forum, the only law school journal focusing entirely on Maryland law.
During law school, Ms. Miller worked as an intern for the Honorable Theresa M. Adams in the Frederick County Circuit Court and as a law clerk for the United States Capitol Police, Office of the General Counsel.
Ms. Miller was a fellow of the Montgomery County Bar Association Leadership Development Academy, and now serves on its Committee. The Leadership Development Academy engages attorneys in training and activities to develop and enhance their skills as future leaders of the Bar Association.
Ms. Miller serves as the Treasurer of the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women's Bar Association, and on its Board of Directors. She also serves on the Montgomery County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education committee.
In 2018, Ms. Miller was accepted as an Associate Member of the Montgomery County Inn of Court, which is a professional association devoted to developing the ethical and trial advocacy skills of local litigators.
Prior to attending law school, beginning in 2010, Leslie worked with Jessica Markham at another family law firm in Bethesda.
