Jane Rodgers, Senior Associate

Ms. Rodgers joined Markham Law Firm as a Senior Associate Attorney in 2022. She represents clients in a broad range of family law matters, including issues such as divorce, domestic violence, pre- and post- nuptial agreements, adoptions, custody and guardianship.

Ms. Rodgers joined Markham Law Firm after practicing for over seven years at a boutique firm in Bethesda where she also gained varied experience in civil in criminal matters including landlord/tenant matters and misdemeanor criminal defense and traffic matters.

Ms. Rodgers received her law degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Washington, DC in May, 2013 and her Bachelor’s Degree from McDaniel College, Westminster, MD; B.A., in May 2008.

Ms. Rodgers is Certified as a Best Interest Attorney and Child’s Privilege Attorney and is on the roster of Court-appointed counsel in guardianship matters in Montgomery County. Ms. Rodgers has also completed 40 Hour Mediation & Interest-Based Negotiation Skills Training and serves as an attorney facilitator for the Montgomery County Circuit Court.

Prior to entering private practice, she clerked for the Honorable John W. Debelius, III, the Montgomery County Circuit Court Administrative Judge.

Ms. Rodgers currently serves on the Legal Ethics Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association.

Ms. Rodgers was a Fellow of the Montgomery County Bar Association Leadership Development Academy, completing her fellowship in 2018.

She is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Inns of Court, the Maryland Association for Justice, American Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
