Desean Waters

Desean Waters joined Markham Law Firm a law clerk in 2025 and rejoined the firm upon graduation from law school. Desean graduated from Howard University School of Law in 2026 and sat for the bar exam in July 2026.

During law school she served on The Howard Human and Civil Rights Law Review, as Executive Solicitations and Submission Editor (2/2025-May 2026) and Staff Editor (8/2024-2/2025). She also interned at the World Bank Group (2025-2026).

Prior to joining the firm, Desean was a Summer Legal Intern at the Hillsborough County 13th Judicial Circuit Court (Summer 2024).

Prior to attending Howard University School of Law, she attended Cooley Law School where she was a Dean’s Fellow.
